Our PhD candidate, Mr. Tamer Ibrahim, has successfully defended his PhD proposal and passed the second PhD exam. Tamer is working on developing new methods to optimize voltage and reactive power resources in transmission networks. His work is mainly supported by a collaborative project funded by EPRI, which is led by Tamer from the SGIL group.
