Ms. Lizzette Salmeron has received a Graduate Engineering for Minorities (GEM) Fellowship. For the past two years, Lizzette has been a research assistant at the Smart Grid Interdependencies Laboratory, working on improving the resiliency and sustainability of our energy supply. Her work along with other collaborators resulted in a presentation at the AIChE FEW Nexus conference in 2019. She is also co-authoring a journal paper to be submitted to MDPI Energies.
